Responsibilities
- Install and maintain commercial/residential electrical systems per NEC standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults using diagnostic tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure timely completion
- Conduct safety inspections and implement OSHA-compliant procedures
- Perform system upgrades and energy-efficient retrofits
- Maintain detailed service records and client documentation
Qualifications
- Valid California electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise in conduit bending, wiring, and circuit design
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, clamp meters)
- Strong understanding of local building codes and permit requirements
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
