Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial properties
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Ensure compliance with NEC and local DC electrical codes
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices
- Manage project timelines and documentation
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and inspectors
Qualifications
- Valid DC Journeyman Electrician license
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Expertise in conduit bending, circuit design, and load calculations
- Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
