Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to ensure code compliance
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Supervise apprentice electricians and ensure team adherence to safety protocols
- Coordinate with contractors and clients to project specifications and timelines
- Complete detailed documentation for inspections and project completion
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with NEC code and local Detroit building regulations
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
