Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential/commercial settings
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical layouts
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions using test equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Collaborate with contractors and clients to project specifications and timelines
- Perform safety inspections and implement hazard prevention measures
- Manage inventory and order necessary electrical materials/equipment
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina electrical license (Journeyman or Master)
- 3+ years of hands-on electrical installation and maintenance experience
- Proven ability to read technical blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with NEC codes and local building regulations
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina for climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
