Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for 2026 technology roadmap including AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Spearhead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Develop patent-pending solutions addressing emerging market needs for 2026
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation budget and manage vendor partnerships
- Mentor a team of 12+ specialists in emerging technologies
- Present strategic innovations to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Drive adoption of agile methodologies in innovation processes
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record launching products with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI, blockchain, AR/VR
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in top-tier journals/conferences (NeurIPS, Nature, etc.)
- Experience scaling teams from 10 to 50+ members
- Strong portfolio of shipped products with user bases >1M
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud architecture (AWS/Azure)
