- Forge partnerships with research institutions and government innovation labs
- Present vision frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Drive patent strategy for 2026-patentable innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation, with 5+ in strategic leadership roles
- Proven track record in commercializing future-facing technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and futures methodology (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Strong network in Silicon Valley research ecosystems
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Experience with agile/lean methodologies for long-term projects
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
