Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Lead and mentor apprentice electricians on projects
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project managers
- Document work orders and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in New Mexico
- Minimum 4 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proficiency in conduit bending, wiring, and system troubleshooting
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Experience with PLC systems and VFDs preferred
