Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and code-compliant wiring in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts.
- Ensure all installations strictly adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local New York building regulations.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, transformers, and control systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults and malfunctions efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers, apprentices, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the State of New York.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety codes.
- Strong proficiency in using power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
