Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with local and national electrical codes
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using advanced testing equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Supervise and train apprentice electricians on safety protocols and best practices
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely project completion
- Perform inspections and prepare detailed reports for system compliance
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman Electrician license (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical experience in commercial/industrial settings
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong knowledge of NEC and NC electrical codes
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends for urgent projects
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
