Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure precise installations
- Diagnose electrical issues using advanced testing equipment and implement effective solutions
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC), Texas state regulations, and OSHA standards
- Supervise apprentices and junior electricians to maintain quality and safety standards
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and project managers to meet deadlines and specifications
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license in good standing
- Minimum 4 years of verifiable commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding NEC updates
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong diagnostic skills for troubleshooting complex electrical systems
- Ability to work independently in diverse environments (heights, confined spaces, outdoors)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with industrial automation systems (PLC, VFD) preferred
