Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial/industrial environments
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using test equipment and tools
- Collaborate with contractors and clients to meet project deadlines
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed
- Train apprentices on safe electrical practices
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia Journeyman Electrician license
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proficiency with conduit bending, motor controls, and power distribution
- Strong understanding of NFPA 70E and lockout/tagout procedures
- Ability to read complex electrical schematics and blueprints
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
