Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and tools
- Supervise apprentice electricians and coordinate project timelines
- Document work progress and maintain accurate job records
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and clients
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico Journeyman Electrician license required
- Minimum 5 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with NEC codes and safety protocols
- Ability to read technical diagrams and construction plans
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to work in various environments and lift 50+ lbs
