Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate with contractors, clients, and team members to meet project deadlines
- Maintain clean, organized worksites and adhere to safety protocols
- Train and mentor apprentices on best practices and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Journeyman Electrician license required
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local building regulations
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments (heights, confined spaces)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
