Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Interpret and execute complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently with minimal downtime.
- Prepare detailed job estimates and material lists for project managers.
- Mentor apprentice electricians, providing guidance on technical procedures and safety.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues and solution options.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the State of New Mexico.
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Reliable tools and willingness to travel to various job sites within the Albuquerque metro area.
