Responsibilities
- Installation: Install and terminate electrical wiring, conduit, and boxes for new construction and renovation projects.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety codes.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, circuits, and components using advanced testing equipment.
- Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and company safety protocols at all times.
- Documentation: Complete accurate time logs, material lists, and job site documentation daily.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients to explain project progress and answer technical questions.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; technical certification or apprenticeship program completion is a plus.
- Experience: Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; 1-2 years of experience preferred for Journeyman level.
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician license required for Journeyman roles; Apprentice must be registered with the state.
- Driver's License: Valid, clean driving record and current driver's license required for site travel.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic math skills, ability to read blueprints, and strong problem-solving abilities.
