Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
- Ensure all work is in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, foremen, and other tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met.
- Conduct on-site safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various environmental conditions (confined spaces, heights).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
