Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan layouts and wiring systems.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues to ensure system functionality and safety.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and meets high-quality standards.
- Mentor apprentice electricians and provide technical guidance as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.
- Strong understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
