Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical work.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations set by OSHA and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to ensure system reliability.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project timelines and requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Train and mentor apprentices or junior electricians as needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Maryland required.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring techniques, and blueprint reading.
- Ability to obtain a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
