Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems according to local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical panels, transformers, and control systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols.
- Educate clients and team members on energy-efficient solutions and proper equipment usage.
- Lead and mentor apprentices and junior technicians as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials.
