Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems, circuits, and wiring according to blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, control systems, and motors to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical infrastructure to prevent downtime.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, foremen, and clients regarding project status and any potential issues.
- Conduct time tracking and material reporting accurately on job sites.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights, attics, and confined spaces.
