Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems, lighting, and control devices in commercial and residential settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan wiring layouts.
- Ensure all installations and repairs strictly adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults to provide efficient, long-term solutions.
- Lead and mentor junior electricians and apprentices on the job site.
- Perform routine safety inspections and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.
- Estimate material costs and prepare work orders for project management.
Qualifications
- Valid Master Electrician License issued by the State of Minnesota.
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, wiring, circuitry, and transformers.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, floor plans, and electrical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Current Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
