Responsibilities
- Perform new electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for commercial and residential properties.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to plan layout and execution.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Conduct routine site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
- Mentor apprentice electricians and assist with training junior staff.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Ohio.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and physical stamina.
- Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights.
