Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and control equipment in commercial and residential settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues using advanced testing equipment.
- Mentor apprentices and junior staff to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding progress and any necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
- Valid California Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding electrical schematics.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
