Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and wiring to ensure they function according to safety specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine layout of electrical systems.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Perform regular maintenance on electrical equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
- Collaborate with project managers and apprentices to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Respond to emergency repair calls and perform troubleshooting for commercial clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License required for Pennsylvania.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
