Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Prepare materials and tools for electrical projects, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including stripping wire, making connections, and installing outlets and switches.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Transport tools and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- No prior electrical experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are preferred.
