Responsibilities
- Install & Maintain: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
- System Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in residential and commercial properties to ensure optimal performance.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, providing estimates and explaining technical work clearly.
- Tool Management: Maintain and organize tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
- Site Safety: Adhere to strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Skills: Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Clean driving record and valid driver’s license required.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
