Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures on complex electrical circuits
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Manage inventory and order electrical materials for project efficiency
- Train junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
- Document work orders and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Minnesota Journeyman Electrician license required
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with power tools, diagnostic equipment, and hand tools
- Strong understanding of NEC codes and local building regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
