Job Summary:
The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and residential settings. You will ensure that all work meets local and national electrical codes and safety standards while delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform new electrical installations, including wiring, lighting, and circuit breaker upgrades.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan work effectively.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations, NEC codes, and company safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, managing waste disposal and tool organization.
- Collaborate with project managers and apprentices to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate technical information clearly to clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven field experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights when necessary.
