Responsibilities
- Perform complex electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for commercial and residential clients.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct routine inspections and safety checks to prevent electrical hazards.
- Mentor apprentice electricians and junior staff members.
- Utilize modern testing equipment (multimeters, voltage detectors) to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate project logs and time sheets for billing purposes.
Qualifications
- Valid California Journeyman Electrician License (State Certified).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and electrical regulations.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in the electrical trade.
