Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency electrical repairs on industrial machinery and lighting systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to ensure facility compliance.
- Diagnose complex electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA standards and National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Document all maintenance activities and repair logs accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts, holidays, and weekends as required.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Skills: Proficiency in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff.
- Physical: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights.
