Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Perform the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems according to local and national electrical codes.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex electrical faults and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime during non-business hours.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts and installations.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients and shift supervisors regarding project status and any immediate electrical concerns.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular preventative maintenance on electrical tools and equipment to ensure longevity and safety.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Tennessee.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Availability: Must be available to work 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in reading blueprints and using electrical testing equipment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
