We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our elite maintenance team for our night shift operations in Wichita, KS. As a key member of our electrical team, you will ensure the continuous operation of our facility and the safety of our personnel during critical production hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical systems, including industrial lighting, motors, and control panels.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical malfunctions efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute wiring projects accurately.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and material usage in the daily logs.
- Collaborate with management to prioritize repair tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid State of Kansas Journeyman Electrician License (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Completion of OSHA 10 or 30-hour safety training preferred.
