Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including motors, transformers, and control panels.
- Install and wire new electrical systems and equipment according to local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan electrical layouts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults efficiently during night operations.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and execute emergency repairs.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Kansas.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10pm - 6am) and weekends as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
