Responsibilities
- Assist Journeymen: Support lead electricians with wiring, installation, and troubleshooting tasks on residential and commercial sites.
- Material Handling: Transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with homeowners and clients, answering questions and maintaining a positive company image.
- Site Prep: Help prepare job sites, including running conduit, stripping wire, and basic assembly of electrical panels.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to learn the electrical trade and obtain Journeyman certification.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites in the Raleigh area.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, climb ladders, crawl in tight spaces, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortability with basic measurements and reading blueprints or schematics.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are mandatory.
