Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings and multi-family residences
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Supervise junior electricians and coordinate with contractors/clients
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Manage material inventory and project documentation
Qualifications
- Valid District of Columbia Journeyman Electrician license (mandatory)
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, wiring, and load calculations
- OSHA 10/30 certification and CPR training
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
