Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Supervise junior electricians and coordinate with other trades
- Document work orders and maintain safety compliance records
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience required
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license (DC or reciprocal state)
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Proficiency in conduit bending, circuit installation, and power distribution
- Strong knowledge of NEC requirements and local building codes
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
