Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial and residential properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical systems to identify and resolve faults efficiently.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Mentor junior electricians and apprentices on proper techniques and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain safety standards and project timelines.
- Estimate material and labor costs for new projects and provide detailed progress reports.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Certification in OSHA 30 or 10 is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights when necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
