Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial, residential, and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure code compliance
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on complex electrical networks
- Supervise apprentice electricians and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Coordinate with project managers and clients to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Manage material inventory and maintain accurate work documentation
Qualifications
- Valid District of Columbia Journeyman Electrician license (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Proven expertise with NEC, OSHA, and DC electrical codes
- Proficiency in conduit bending, wiring, and system diagnostics
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various environments
