Role Overview
In this position, you will be responsible for performing complex electrical installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance. You will work independently and as part of a team to resolve electrical issues in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, and lighting controls.
- Ensure strict adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Seattle building codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools and multimeters.
- Respond to emergency calls and weekend work orders promptly and professionally.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and ensure all paperwork is completed per company standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure project timelines and budget constraints are met.
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Journeyman Electrician License (Must be listed on the Master List).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, fire alarm systems, and power distribution.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and occasional holidays.
