Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in commercial and residential settings.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical installations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct routine safety inspections and maintenance on equipment.
- Lead and mentor apprentice electricians on job sites.
- Document all work accurately for project records.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in New Mexico.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the electrical trade.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
