Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults and repair them promptly to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Train and mentor apprentices and junior electricians as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent physical stamina; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- OSHA 10 or 30 Hour Safety Certification preferred.
