Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using appropriate testing equipment.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Collaborate with project managers to complete jobs on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 4 years of verifiable experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and use technical manuals and schematics.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
