Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations accurately.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure system longevity and safety compliance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime for clients.
- Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license in the State of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Availability to travel to various job sites within the Charlotte metro area.
