Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for residential and commercial clients.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work is in strict compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Conduct thorough inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding project timelines and status.
- Assist in mentoring apprentices and junior electricians when required.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License for the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, circuit breakers, and wiring systems.
- Ability to use electrical testing equipment and hand tools proficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
