Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local codes and regulations.
- Inspect electrical systems, devices, and components to identify hazards or defects.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure system reliability.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues quickly and accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record.
- Excellent physical stamina to perform manual labor in various environments.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
