Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems according to local and national codes (NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations.
- Perform thorough troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions efficiently.
- Ensure all work is completed with a focus on safety, quality control, and timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper tool storage and site cleanup.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding progress and any on-site issues.
- Obtain and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications for the state of North Carolina.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in North Carolina required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team on various job sites.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and work in various environments (including heights and confined spaces).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
