Responsibilities
- Installation & Repair: Perform high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including residential, commercial, and industrial wiring.
- Blueprints: Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Compliance: Ensure all electrical work strictly adheres to local Miami-Dade building codes and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Testing: Conduct thorough testing of electrical systems and equipment to verify safety and functionality.
- Client Interaction: Provide exceptional service to clients, explaining technical issues clearly and professionally.
- Tool Maintenance: Maintain and organize all tools and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman Electrician License required for the state of Florida.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, using ammeters, voltmeters, and other diagnostic testing equipment.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required for site travel.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
