Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine the layout and wiring of electrical circuits.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system safety and longevity.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
- Educate apprentices and junior staff on proper techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
