Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems, including lighting, outlets, and circuit breakers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to plan installations.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure safety compliance and system efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults and electrical emergencies.
- Ensure all work adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC, PA codes).
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding progress and any issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license (PA State License required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical field.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, including multimeters and circuit testers.
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and positions.
