Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers in diagnosing and repairing residential/commercial plumbing systems
- Install pipes, fixtures, and water treatment systems following blueprints and safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance checks and preventative servicing for plumbing networks
- Document work orders, inventory usage, and client communications accurately
- Adhere to local plumbing codes and EPA regulations for all installations
- Operate power tools, diagnostic equipment, and trenching machinery safely
- Collaborate with electricians and HVAC technicians on integrated projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool-handling skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Willingness to obtain Indiana plumbing apprentice license within 6 months
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for on-site assignments
